Are you a woman who possesses a healthy, fearful respect for God’s power? Hopefully so. After all, God’s Word teaches that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7).
When we fear the Lord and when we honor Him by obeying His commandments, we receive God’s approval and His blessing. But, when we ignore Him or disobey Him, we invite disastrous consequences.
God’s hand shapes the universe, and it shapes our lives. God maintains absolute sovereignty over His creation, and His power is beyond comprehension. The fear of the Lord is, indeed, the beginning of knowledge. But thankfully, once we possess a healthy, fear of God, we need never be fearful of anything else.
The remarkable thing about fearing God is that when you fear God, you fear nothing else, whereas if you do not fear God, you fear everything else.
Dear Lord, let my greatest fear be the fear of displeasing You. I will strive, Father, to obey You and seek Your will this day and every day of my life.
In Jesus name I pray
Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
