Get Involved in the Chruch

If you want to build character, the church is a wonderful place to do it. Are you an active, contributing, member of your local fellowship? The answer to this simple question will have a profound impact on the direction of your spiritual journey and the content of you character.
If  you are not currently engaged In a local church, you’re missing out on multiple blessings that include, but are certainly not limited to , the life-lifting relationships that you can and should be experiencing with fellow believers.
So do yourself a favor: find a congregation you’re comfortable with, and join it. And once you’ve joined, don’t just attend church out of habit. Go to church out of a sincere desire to know and worship God. When you do, you’ll be blessed by the men and women who attend your fellowship, and you’ll be blessed by the Lord. You deserve to attend church, and God deserves for you to attend church, so don’t delay.
Be filled with the Holly Spirit; join a church where the members believe the bible and know the Lord; seek the fellowship of other Christians; learn and be nourished by God’s Word and His many promises. Conversion is not the end of your journey, it is only the beginning.
Dear Lord, today I pray for Your church. Let me help to feed Your flock by helping to build Your church so they others, too, might experience Your enduring love and Your eternal grace.
In Jesus name I pray
Now I say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will have been loosed in heaven.
Matthew 16:18-19
