God has plans for your life, but He won’t force His plans upon you. The Lord has given you the ability to make decisions on your own. With that freedom comes the responsibility of living with the consequences of your decisions.
If you seek to live in accordance with God’s plan for your life, you will study His word, you will be attentive to His instructions, and you will be watchful for His signs. You will associate with fellow believers who, by their words and actions, will encourage your own spiritual growth. You will also avoid those two terrible temptations: the temptation to sin and the temptation to squander time. And finally, you will listen carefully to the conscience that God has placed in your heart.
God has glorious plans for your day and your life. So as you go about your daily activities, keep your eyes and ears open…as well as your heart.
Dear Lord, I am Your creation, and You created me for a reason. Give me the wisdom to follow Your direction for my life’s journey. Let me do Your work here on earth by seeking Your will and living it, knowing that when I trust in You, Father, I am eternally blessed.
In Jesus name I pray
Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God. May Your gracious Spirit lead me on level ground.
